Smith Crossing

Challenges
Smith Crossing built six different environments at its Orland Park location - cottages; independent living, assisted living, skilled care and memory care facilities; and a 39,000 square foot town center. Studio One Design was tasked with creating one cohesive community among them through interior design.

Solutions
Studio One Design brought consistency and flow throughout the environments by creating marketing and design standards; these were also used as part of the complete sales package to promote the facility and boost sales of the units. We developed a palette of colors that became the backdrop for all of the areas. Thirty seven custom carpet designs were used, each incorporating the same colors to provide flow throughout the facility.

Consistent colors, patterns and architectural details create the feeling of a unified environment. Furniture and finishes were also selected for both senior comfort and maintenance.
